Naruto's chest burned with the need for oxygen, but Naruto declined his body's request. He had to keep moving, had to keep running. He had to get out of her reach; he had to get far enough away so that she would forget him. Far enough so that he could forget her.
The sun was just beginning to set by the time he let his weary body rest. He took a shaky breathe and hoped that he was making the right decision. He figured he was as far enough away so that no one from the village would find him, but he still continued to walk further anyways.
